Why You Should Use a Random Number Generator
If you're trying to create an array of random numbers it is likely that you will discover an order. Even subconsciously, the human mind is programmed to look for and create things in the form of a pattern or sequence. However, this can adversely affect math-related problems you're working on or activities you have planned.
In order to ensure that it's at the mercy of fate and there is no influence in the selection for you, we've made this simple random number generator that will select an number automatically. It's easy to use. You just need to input two numbers, and it will generate a random number. random number generator will give you an integer that lies between them.
How To Use a Random Number Generator
Its random number generator can recognize complete numbers as well as negative numbers. It cannot accept decimals, fractions or equations. If you insert a percent symbol, that symbol will not be carried over across to random number box.
- Start by entering a number of your choice into the lower limit box.
- Then input another number of your choice into the Upper Limit box.
- Once you have your two numbers, press Enter.
- The random number will be displayed on your Random Number box.
- Keep pressing Enter to receive a new number every time.

Working Example
Let's say you want to select an random number to win a raffle prize. There are thirty people that take part in the raffle, but only three will win. The prizes range from 1 to 150. So the Lower Limit is one and the upper Limit is 150. Hit Enter and then the random number generator gives you a 7,36, and 2.
Participants in raffles who have the numbers 7 2, 36, and 7 on their tickets will be the three raffle winners.
Decimal Trouble
Imagine you're trying to find a number in between 2.01 and 2.5. You type in 2.01 to be your Low Limit and 2.5 as your Upper Limit. When you press Enter You get 2. That's not between your values! Sorry, there are no decimals allowed in this random number generator. However, as long as you're working within decimal points of the same number, you could use different whole numbers for the two values and assign the result after the decimal.
If your range is somewhere between 2.01 and 2.5 You can enter 1 and 50 in the boxes for values. Let's say the range generates that number 25. You could put that after your decimal, and that would result in: 2.25
